Posted by mary^j^benny    May 12, 2013

I just happened across the news of Bennie's death today by accident and felt that I had to write to you to express how my heart hurts for you. He is such a beautiful baby boy. What joy he must have brought to you! It it with faith that I believe Benjamin is rejoicing in heaven with his brother. I pray for your family that although you will never heal that you will be secure in the fact that its possible to be reuinited and whole with your boys once again. I pray for strength for you, Mom and Dad, to bring joy to your daughter until you're all together once again. -- With deepest sympathy---

I'm so sorry to hear of Benjamin's passing. He's beautiful. I lost a daughter too, back in 2008, and wanted to leave a little message here to let you know I'm thinking of you. My deepest, deepest condolences and warmest hugs to you. <3>

My heart goes out to you in the loss of your son. I took care of Benjamin on several occasions shortly after he was born. Your story has weighed heavily on my mind. I remember the presence that you had, Shelley. It was a beautiful thing to see you holding Benjamin. I remmeber you had a beautiful picture of your older son displayed proudly in Benjamin's room. Know that we think of your family as you mourn your little angel.

You do not know us but we feel every bit of your pain, we hurt with you. We also have lost two boys to accidents and our 5 year old was a similar farm related trauma. Do not blame, it was an accident and use all your strength to hold each other. The hell you are going through is tough...just try to stay strong for each other and for your parents. They hurt too. May God hold you in his hands at this very difficult time. We will keep you in our prayers.

I wish I had something that could help the pain you are feeling. I am at such a loss for words. As difficult as it may be, please try to see all the people around that care for you and your family. Realize you are not alone. They are, .... we all are, .... I am always there with you even if not there in person.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart aches for you, Shelley and Al. I know the pain of losing a child. Our little boy, Derek, was killed in a farm accident too. I can't imagine you going through this twice in such a short amount of time. Dylan was such a sweetheart and Bennie looks so much like my Derek. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I think of you all the time. Please know that God is with our kids holding them in His loving arms. And know that God is and always will be with you through all of this.

My heart aches for you! I pray that you feel God's loving arms wrapped around you, comforting you as you mourn. May God's peace be with you as you begin to heal, yet again, from such a precious loss and may you find comfort in knowing that Dylan and Bennie are playing together in Heaven and sharing with each other how blessed they were to have such wonderful parents while here on Earth. Peace be with you Al and Shelley.

Sometimes there are no words. I have been so sad to hear of this news. My sister in law and a friend know you guys. To lose a child is a parents worst nightmare, but I can't imagine the loss of two. It's a hard road to travel to bare the pain and loss. We lost a child and it never makes sense. I have to believe that our lives are truly mapped out for us and that our children are with us in spirit and will be waiting for us. Fly high sweet Benny!

Posted by Jenny Hendrickson - Freeborn, MN   March 22, 2013

You don't know me but I feel we are connected. We're part of that family that lost a child way too soon; our precious Carter also passed away when he was two. And you have lost two children; I can only imagine. I am so sorry your family is having to endure this pain; not just once but twice. Your family and Bennie have been on my mind and in my heart since this tragic accident happened. Please know I hold you all in my thoughts and prayers as Jesus holds Bennie in his arms. I know I know you just want Bennie back in your arms. I hope and pray you are able to find some sort of peace and comfort. Know you are not alone. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and will always remember a beautiful blue eyed blonde haired baby boy I never got to meet but will hold in my heart forever. Thank you for sharing that beautiful photo of him.
With sympathy and love,
Carter's grandma gayle

Benny was a miracle. And I am so blessed to have known him. I remember last summer (when the picture was taken) that I held up one of the decoration turtles and told Benny that the turtle loved him. After that Benny kept smoochin on it and petting it. After that, every time we were on the deck, he would play with the turtles.
Benny also loved to dance. And it would crack us up. He was so adorable and funny. He definitely made family gatherings so much better.
Benny will always be in our hearts along with Dylan.
We are praying Shelley and Al. Love you both so much.

To Al, Shelly and to all those you have touch Benny. We ask that the Lord grants us love, peace, grace, mercy, and the knowledge that you are with the Holy Father, and all those who have gone before us. That you are safe in His arms and will be until we are all gathered together in His Kingdom. I had a dream the other day of Dylan holding Benny in his arms and pointing to something off in the distance. They had a golden glow around them and they were both smiling. I know it was the Lord's way of letting me know they are both O.K. and taking care of each other. Just before I woke, I could here Dylan say to Benny, "Tell Mommy I Love You" and Benny whispered "Love You". I see this as a sign that there is a plan He has set out before use. However difficult it may be, there is a reason and a time to everything under Heaven.

We love you all and pray for healing everyday,
Stephanie, Troy, Malachi and Nehum

There are just no words that can take away the pain of losing your beautiful precious baby boy. The loss of a child is hardest thing a parent can go through and you just lost your other young son so recently. My heart aches for you, and I am praying that God will sustain you during this difficult time. Hopefully, in a small way it helps, knowing that so many care and wish they could take away this awful pain you are dealing with. No parent should have to go through this let alone twice within such a short period of time. You have my very, very deep and heartfelt sympathy.
