As a young man, John came to New Orleans in pursuit of the American Dream. He became a successful entrepreneur, dedicated husband and father, and an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church Community. He served his church as a former Vice-President of the Parish Council, Member of the Board of Trustees, and Chairman of the Real Estate Committee.

He was a kind, sincere, and goal oriented individual with a great sense of humor and thirst for knowledge. Throughout his life he was committed to the ideals of Hellenism. He valued his family, hard work, and the importance of education. He instilled these values in his daughters and was incredibly proud of their professional accomplishments. His greatest joy in the past six years was his grandson, Dean John. May his memory be eternal.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1200 Robert E. Lee Blvd., New Orleans, LA, on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Autism Society, or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
