Obituary


Eva L. Brown entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 20, 2015 at the age of 85, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Orleans and has been a resident of Mandeville since 1966. Eva was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed volunteering at Southeast Louisiana Hospital and the Headstart Program in Covington.



Eva was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Malcolm M. Brown, her parents, Dr. Randolph Lyons and Alice Patton Lyons and a grandson.



She leaves behind her sons, Randy (Wanda), Norman (Stephanie), daughters...

She leaves behind her sons, Randy (Wanda), Norman (Stephanie), daughters Kathy Reuther (Charlie), Carolyn George (Peter Platou), as well as 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a sister, Alice Conroy from Houston, TX, a brother, Dr. William Patton from Pensacola, FL, and many loving nieces and nephews.



The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tonya, Mark, and Linda of Family Caregiving LLC and Lisa and Krystal with Lakeshore Hospice.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchatrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetary) on Tuesday, March 31 2015 at 11:00 AM.
